Volvo XC90: Family-Oriented Car

Volvo does things a little different from other premium brands in the automotive world. For this Swedish manufacturer, safety and kid-friendliness are just as important as luxury convenience and driving performance. This car can seat seven passengers comfortably and has a good sized engine. The seats can be dropped down to allow for a more cargo area which can top out at eighty five cubic inches. Its fuel economy is on the low side for its class, it isn’t as luxurious or high-tech as rivals and its third row isn’t very large or spacious for anyone bigger than a small kid.

It was first introduced in 2003, the Volvo XC90 was one of the first carlike crossovers in the luxury realm. Now, many years and several design changes, the 2011 XC90 keeps with the same basic formula of top-notch interior comfort; it brings safety, secure performance; and an upscale yet family-oriented feature set.

The 2012 Volvo XC90 ranks 15 out of 18 Luxury Midsize SUVs. Despite its low starting price and status as an IIHS Top Safety Pick, the 2012 Volvo XC90 is outdone by its competitors in nearly every respect. The ride is smooth and pretty quiet which brings comfort to the passengers. And it is certainly a plus that it takes regular unleaded gas which is an extra advantage.

Feel very secure with the XC90. It’s not a fancy or fast SUV but more like driving solid built vehicle.  Price even more worthwhile because at the end of the day, high end crossovers can cost much more than this model and not offer everything that Volvo offers. This unit offers great demands for the consumers and even accesses them into a reasonable price. With its practically security and devices well impaired with, then XC90 it is.
